CALL FOR PROGRAM PLANNING VOLUNTEERS 2024 ICPHSO International Symposium 16-17 October 2024 Deadline Submission for Planning Committee Membership – May 21, 2024 Dear Friends of ICPHSO,
We’re happy to announce that we are returning to Brussels, Belgium and the agenda planning gears are in motion for the 2024 International Symposium, being held in conjunction with the European Commission's International Product Safety Week (IPSW). ICPHSO’s theme this year is “Bridging the Gap: Linking Policy to Action”, This theme supplements the theme of IPSW which is: "Bridges for Global Product Safety".
The call for proposals for the ICPHSO symposium content will be open from May 24 through July 12, 2024. and all proposals must be submitted by July 12, 2024 to be considered. There will be no deadline extension this year. A separate, paid registration is required to attend the ICPHSO sessions that will take place October 16-17, 2024.
As is our practice, we look to our product safety stakeholders to help us plan and prepare for the Symposium. In addition to promoting the Symposium, Planning Committee members will also be asked to help review and recommend the proposals that will provide the content for the 2-day Symposium.
We hope you will participate in this process by joining the 2024 International Symposium Planning Committee.
To do so, complete the Brief Questionnaire (by May 21, 2024) at: https://form.jotform.com/241304815261145.
Please note that participation in this activity is a benefit of ICPHSO membership. If you are not currently a member but plan to join ICPHSO within the next few weeks, please indicate that when completing the questionnaire. Membership will be required for subsequent planning call participation.
The Planning Committee’s Introductory call is tentatively scheduled for May 23, 2024, at 11:00 am EDT.
More information on the first planning call will be sent to those who sign up to be Planning Committee members.
We look forward to working with you to further advance product safety.
