Planning continues in anticipation of our travel to Almhult, Sweden for our International Symposium on October 26-27, 2023 - hosted by IKEA.
The Call for Proposals is now closed and submissions are under review. Board Member Rod Freeman will be working with the Executive Committee to coordinate the content planning with our volunteer planning committee members.
It’s not too early to start thinking about global safety issues that you believe should be discussed in anticipation of our Call for Proposals. Also, we will be seeking Sponsors and Exhibitors for the International Symposium, so please keep these opportunities in mind as you consider budgets going forward into 2023. We are working with IKEA on logistics, which will include a pre symposium ICPHSO Welcome Reception at the IKEA Hotel; an evening IKEA hosted Welcome Dinner, Lab and Museum tours before and after the conference. ICPHSO is solely responsible for the content and the development of the agenda.
We appreciate the support provided by Board Member Vladimir Brajkovic, and others from IKEA, as we long-distance plan the details of holding the conference in Sweden.
A block of rooms are reserved for ICPHSO Attendees at the IKEA Hotel. Room availability is limited so be sure to make your travel plans early. We look forward to seeing you in Almhult, Sweden.

TRAVEL INFORMATION TO ALMHULT, SWEDEN
To go to Almhult, Sweden, you can fly into either Copenhagen Airport (CPH) or Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN). Almhult is a train ride away from these two airports. From Copenhagen its approximately 2 hours. From Stockholm, the train ride is approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Almhult, The IKEA Hotel is a short walk from the train station.
All sessions take place at IKEA Live!, which is a short distance from the IKEA Hotel. Transportation to and from the hotel and the Symposium site will be provided. The IKEA Lab, IKEA Dinner and Museum are a short walk from the IKEA Hotel.

REGISTRATION:
Member Rate: USD $550 | Non Member Rate: USD $650
Registration fee for the two day symposium includes all conference materials via the mobile meeting app and access to all presentations after the Symposium.
The fee also provides for all non-session activities including:
• IKEA Lab Tours before and after the Symposium - October 25 and 27, 2023 - Walking distance from the IKEA Hotel (Space Limited)
• ICPHSO Pre-Symposium Drop-In Welcome Reception - October 25, 2023 in the evening at the IKEA Hotel (Space Limited)
• IKEA-hosted Evening Welcome Reception along with IKEA Museum Guided Tours -October 26, 2023 (The Dinner and IKEA Museum are in the same building)
• Light Breakfast • Networking Breaks • Lunch at IKEA LIVE! - Bus Transport will be provided from the IKEA Hotel and Back
All meals and transportation to IKEA LIVE! during the symposium days (October 26 and 27) are generously hosted by IKEA.
