ICPHSO (International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization) is pleased to be going to London, England for its in-person 2025 International Symposium being held in cooperation with the UK's Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) to be held on October 14 and 15, 2025 at the Mermaid London venue. The International Student Mentorship Program will also coincide with the Symposium.  Student mentee applications are being accepted along with student mentor applications. See links below.

In addition, we are pleased to collaborate with the Electrical Safety First (ESF)  organization, who will hold their Electrical Product Safety Conference 2025 on October 16, 2025, at the same venue as the ICPHSO International Symposium.                              

                                                 

Separate registrations will be required for the ICPHSO and ESF conferences (use the discount code SAVE50 towards your ESF registration). We encourage ICPHSO attendees to stay for the ESF conference and those attending the Electrical Product Safety Conference 2025 should also consider attending the ICPHSO 2025 International Symposium . We will be holding some joint events which you won't want to miss.

REGISTER FOR ESF CONFERENCE

ICPHSO is planning a pre-symposium evening welcome reception on Monday, October 13, 2025  at an off-site venue within walking or subway distance of the Mermaid London hosted and sponsored by Ashurst, Compliance and Risks, and Sedgwick.

ICPHSO will also hold an offsite reception at the close of the first day of the Symposium on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, within walking distance of the Mermaid London, hosted and sponsored by Amazon.  

ICPHSO will also hold a joint off-site evening reception at the close of the second day of the Symposium on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 and this off-site reception will also serve as a welcome reception for those attending the Electrical Product Safety Conference 2025 to be held the next day also at the Mermaid London. This offsite reception while within walking distance of the Mermaid, there is limited space available. Hosted and sponsored by Cooley and Electrical Safety First (Limited space is available).

As you plan your travel to London, please keep in mind these additional events that are included in your ICPHSO registration fee.

The ICPHSO 2025 International Symposium registration fee includes all conference materials, breakfast, networking breaks, evening Pre-Symposium Welcome Reception, First Night Reception and Symposium Wrap Up/ESF evening Welcome Reception and access to conference presentations, and attendee list.  

Travel and Hotel information is available as a resource only since there is no ICPHSO hotel for this event and attendees are responsible for making their own arrangements for hotel and travel.

HOTEL & TRAVEL INFORMATION

Starting on January 8, 2025, US citizens, as well as visitors from Australia and Canada visiting the UK will need electronic travel authorization (even for layovers). While most applications are approved on the same day, it can take up to 72 hours. Once granted, ETAs are digitally linked to a traveler's passport and allow for stays of up to six months at a time. The ETA is valid for two years or until your passport expires (whichever comes first). The UK ETA will cost 10 pounds (roughly $13 USD).

To apply for an ETA, you will need a valid passport, a recent digital headshot that follows the UK's passport photo requirements, an email address, details of your travel plans, as well as a valid debit/credit card to pay the application fees.
