2019 Annual Meeting and Symposium Information

ICPHSO returns to Washington DC to hold its Annual Meeting and Training Symposium on February 25 - 28, 2019 at the Washington Renaissance DC.  The theme of this year's Annual Meeting is "United for Safety".  This theme reflects the unique standing of ICPHSO as the only global organization bringing together a diverse array of product safety stakeholders. ICPHSO facilitates vibrant dialogue about product safety in a constructive and cooperative environment which emphasizes inclusion of speakers that reflect the diversity of ICPHSO members and conference attendees. 

The four-day (Monday - Thursday) Annual Meeting and Training Symposium provides an opportunity for global health and safety professionals to participate in discussions that further enhance the safety of consumer products throughout the world. 

Symposium speakers and attendees will include industry leaders from the manufacturing, import and retail sectors; members of the legal community; consumer representatives; trade associations; academia; health and service providers; test labs; recall specialists; and federal, state, and local regulators from around the globe.

Why Attend:

ICPHSO’s signature Annual Meeting is held each year in the United States.  The Annual meeting features plenary sessions on international trends and developments in product health and safety, on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and its work, and on basic training in legal and compliance-oriented aspects of product health and safety. The Annual meeting also features such prominent public-sector keynote speakers as the CPSC Chairman and private sector experts as well. Concurrent tutorials and interactive breakout sessions round out the program, enabling participants to engage on timely and specialized topics of particular interest.
