While attending the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization’s 2023 North America Product Safety Training Workshop in Boston earlier this month, the teams at Association Headquarters, ICPHSO, and BARK were left with a rather unique
problem: too many lobster roll dog toys! These Bostonian-inspired dog toys were provided by BARK as an addition to the ICPHSO workshop attendees’ registration bags. With nearly 100 toys remaining after the workshop, the AH team knew they could coordinate
    donations to local shelters.

“We’ve had the opportunity to partner with shelters in the past, and we’re grateful that ICPHSO and BARK collaborated with us on this project,” commented Mike Dwyer, Chief Executive Relationship Officer at Association
Headquarters. “These toys will have such a positive impact on the dogs’ well-being, making their stay at the shelter more comfortable.”

The two shelters that will receive the toys are the Voorhees Animal Orphanage (NJ) and the Animal Welfare
League of Alexandria (VA). Association Headquarters coordinated the deliveries and a few lucky team members even got some extra play time with a few furry friends! Both shelters were appreciative of the donations and noted that playtime enrichment
is especially important for dogs in shelters to maintain their mental health and encourage socialization. To learn more about supporting these shelters visit https://www.vaonj.org/ and https://alexandriaanimals.org/.

About BARK
BARK is the world’s most dog-centric company, devoted to making dogs happy with the best products, services, and content.
